My new job at the Toy Factory

I must apologize for my infrequent blogging as of late! I started a new day job designing at a Toy Company! Mainly graphic design and some product development. It is quite fun to be surrounded by toys all day (not mention having Hello Kitty products all over my desk,a girl's dream come true!). Once I get a hang of my new schedule I can figure out how this full time working and Etsying will turn out! Even though I am surrounded by dolls it ain't MY dollfaces and I do miss them mischievous eyes! I hope to do some new drawings soon!

A scrabble tile

Scrabble tile seems to be a perfect little holder for my drawings so I went ahead and purchased a kit and the results are pretty darling. Here is Alice in her scrabble tile. She sits under a resin dome which gives it a glass-like appearance. So sweet. I then proceeded to make my Enid print as a tile but I used paper that is too textured and it turned out funky & full of air bubbles so I will give it another try! For some reason my first tries always turn out better than the second!

Hope all you guys and dolls had a wonderfilled 4th of July! I had a yummy weekend full of lemon cake, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, hot dogs (lots of em), sodas, chips, late nights and ice-cream! The parade and the fireworks weren't bad either!

"Amelie" - A Custom Illustration

I had a blast creating this custom illustration for an etsy patron! I've seen Amelie before but it has been quite a while and this image really fits in with my mischievous doll faces!
